Even though she lost reelection, Judge “Speedy” Gonzales needs to be disbarred. He/her/it’s actions in the courtroom were atrocious! The fact that she adorned her courtroom with LGBTQ paraphernalia was not only distasteful, it was unjudicial and showed bias. I would hate to see her preside over an LGBTQ mass murderer case. She’d probably let the murderer off so it’s feelings aren’t hurt. He/she/it’s personal preference should not be reflected in her judgement. Activists of ANY kind should not be in ANY position that judges others or otherwise decides their fate(s).
