It may be unfair to blame Trump for some of his followers erecting a gallows and threatening to hang Pence, but when Trump didn’t push back on that, he became morally complicit even if he wasn’t legally responsible. And since Pence wasn’t in fact killed, I suppose it still falls under freedom of speech, although it’s a gray area as it may have met the criterion for illegal threats, being both plausible and imminent.
Mike Pence sold Trump out, and he sold America out as well. He should have said, “I will not certify an election that may have been fraudulent in several states”. Then let the chips fall where they may.
After the shit had hit the fan, Mike Pence burped, “It’s my JOB to certify the election”. Well, if all he can do is certify the election, then why do we need him at all?
